Sandy and NYC

Last Monday and Tuesday, we at Booker Travels spent most of the day inside our own homes in NYC as Hurricane Sandy pounded up and down the east coast. What followed the storm has been difficult for many of us- no electricity, no hot water, no transportation, no internet, not enough candles, and no heat. But we are happy to be safe.

Our hearts go out to people who have been through the terrible tragedy of losing homes or loved ones.
