Week 2 in the Amazon

Booker joins a team from the Health and Joy Organization for a trip to the Tapajós Forest Reserve.

While visiting the villages, he learns how locals are using new technology to document and share their lives.

We would like to thank the communities of Capixauã, Suruacá and Pedra Branca for their beautiful hospitality. Also a big thanks to everyone at Health and Joy, and specially to Bob Barbosa and Gabriel Abreu, for taking Booker on a fantastic trip.

Music plays an important role in the lives of locals. Every time we arrive in a new place, we are welcomed by music. This episode features some of the songs we heard during our journey.
