Hop a ride on the Rockabus

NYC beaches are open for business! While there’s still plenty of work to be done 6 ½ months after Hurricane Sandy, that doesn’t mean surf’s blown out this summer. Rockabus, a nonstop bus service that opens this Saturday June 15th, will be shuttling eager beach-goers to Rockaway Beach and Jacob Riis Park. With three pickup locations (Williamsburg, the Lower East Side, and Grand Army Plaza), Rockabus is a great way to skip the subway and stay above ground on a sunny summer day. And for only $10 one-way or $15 round-trip, your ticket includes a different mix-tape curated by DJ’s and music-bloggers for each weekend of the summer. With that, there’s surely no excuse not to show your love for the Rockaways this year.
