It’s Thanksgiving next week! We wanted to post something for you to do that is different from the usual Thanksgiving events (although we do encourage you to check out the Thanksgiving Parade) so we searched the web and asked around and found out about Big Onion’s Post Thanksgiving Multi-Ethnic Eating Tour. This tour is focused on the ethnic diversity of the Lower East Side; it includes tastings of Dominican, Jewish, Italian, and Chinese foods. We think it’s perfect to contrast the traditional American Thanksgiving dinner. It meets at the southwest corner of Delancey and Essex streets (in front of the Chase Bank). The tour costs $25 for adults and $20 for students and seniors and it is happening twice on November 28th, once at 11a.m. and once at 2p.m. You can find out more about it HERE.
