Places to eat:
Get a snack while walking through Parque Colon. There is no shortage of vendors to choose from. Be sure to get the famous plate made of yucca, pork rind, salad and chicha (a fermented corn drink).
Our best meal of the trip was at Encuentros. Owned by a European family who loves to travel, the restaurant serves what they call “International and Mediterranean cuisine”. We just call it delicious.
