Barcelona, day one

I’m finally here!!!

Today was a good day despite the long travel to get from the airport to our house in Barcelona. We are staying in a beautiful apartment found in the house swap section of Craigslist. It reminds me of a boat because of its small size but it has a really nice set up and a great balcony.

We needed to get settled and ready for a big evening, so we only went out for a short walk to get a feel of the neighborhood.

At 8 o’clock, together with our friend and cameraman Rob, I was off to a soccer match at Camp Nou: F.C. Barcelona vs Getafe.

The game was magnificent, I got to watch my favorite players play from up close, and Dani Alves’ goal was amazing!

It was late when I got back home, and went to bed under the “supermoon”. The moon was at its closest perigee in almost 20 years.
