Barcelona, day three

Today we went to Parc Güell, which overviews Barcelona. The walk there was very tiring because it was uphill but we got there…

Parc Güell is incredible, with stone and tile sculptures spread out among gardens. Some of the larger structures such as a walkway with rock pillars seemed to challenge the laws of physics.

The name Güell comes from Eusebi Güell, Gaudi’s biggest patron who asked for the Parc to be built.

We couldn’t get enough of the place, and ended up visiting all the various sections of the park until the sun started to go down.
